Take the Video Tour

Before we hit the road, here's the walkthrough reel from Elevated Media Co. so you can see the inside first.

Where Fort West Sits on the Map

Fort West is an established neighborhood on the west side of the Farragut area, a few minutes off Kingston Pike (US 11/70). From here, Kingston Pike carries you east into the heart of Farragut, and the I-40 and I-75 interchanges are close by in both directions. That puts the house near the spot where west Knox County meets the road to Lenoir City and Loudon County.

Drive Times From Broken Saddle Rd

We mapped these from the home's MLS location using OpenStreetMap routing on October 25, 2026. They're ranges because traffic changes everything. Kingston Pike, Campbell Station Road and I-40 all get busy at rush hour and around school drop-off, so give yourself a cushion.

Everyday Errands and School Runs

  • Farragut Town Hall: about 4 miles, 10 to 15 minutes
  • Farragut High School: about 4.5 miles, 10 to 20 minutes
  • Turkey Creek shopping and dining area: about 6 miles, 15 to 20 minutes
  • Concord Park on Fort Loudoun Lake: about 7 miles, 15 to 20 minutes
  • West Town Mall: about 13 miles, 20 to 35 minutes

The Work Commute

  • I-40 at Campbell Station Road (Exit 373): about 5 miles, 10 to 15 minutes
  • The I-40 and I-75 split, heading west toward Lenoir City and Chattanooga: about 6 miles, 15 to 20 minutes
  • Pellissippi Parkway (I-140) at I-40: about 7 miles, 15 to 20 minutes
  • Oak Ridge National Laboratory: about 14 miles, 25 to 40 minutes, by way of Watt Road, I-40 and State Route 95
  • Downtown Knoxville (Market Square): about 20 miles, 30 to 45 minutes

Working at the lab or anywhere in Oak Ridge? Our Oak Ridge relocation guide covers that side of the commute, and you can compare Oak Ridge homes for sale too. Headed downtown every day? Browse Knoxville homes for sale to weigh a shorter drive against the extra space out here.

Flights, Games and Nights Out

  • University of Tennessee campus: about 20 miles, 30 to 45 minutes
  • McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS): about 20 miles, 30 to 45 minutes, mostly by way of Pellissippi Parkway

The airport sits in Alcoa, so frequent flyers sometimes look at Alcoa homes for sale as well. Game days and concerts downtown can stretch those UT and Market Square times, so plan ahead.
